Education and Perspective
Mr. Chang graduated magna cum laude from St. John’s University with a degree in finance before earning his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law, where he again achieved high academic honors. His background in finance and law gives him a practical perspective on helping families preserve their legacies and plan for future generations.
Experience and Commitment
Early in his career, Mr. Chang worked in the consumer-protection division of the Legal Aid Society of Hawai‘i, where he handled wrongful-foreclosure matters and saw firsthand the critical importance of proactive planning. He later practiced civil litigation at a Honolulu law firm before founding Estate Planning America, where he now devotes his practice to helping families protect their legacies and plan for the future.

Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Chang gives back to the community through volunteer work with Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawai‘i and as a volunteer mentor with SCORE, a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration. Through this work, he supports both youth development and local entrepreneurship.
